This is a brief review. I had high expectations for Richard Russo’s Under The Falls. I mean, it’s Richard Freaking Russo! I admit my expectations were perhaps too high (duh!), but the neither the characters nor the plot really did it for me. It would have made (and maybe will become) a TV miniseries, but I cannot recommend this particular book.
