Malcolm Nance, known to watchers of MSNBC as a knowledgeable reporter with years of experience in counterintelligence, is willing to SHOW UP for what he believes. Want proof? He joined the Foreign Fighters in Ukraine after the country was invaded by Russia. His latest book, They Want to Kill Americans, quite frankly scared the %^$#* out of me, as it takes a detailed look at the threat to democracy we are facing in the U.S. today. 

Nance looks at the insurgency led by the former President, and how the lies were only made worse by the prior administration’s colossal failure to deal with the pandemic that began in 2020. He states that as many as 74 million citizens have expressed hostility toward our democracy, and are becoming increasingly radicalized. He explains the bizarre conspiracy theories as he presents his views on TITUS (Trump Insurgency in the United States). He spells out how the WORST response to the threat is the advocate for a “return to normalcy,” and how the push for a move toward a dictatorship led by the former President (who clearly is a fan of authoritarian dictators in countries including Turkey, North Korea, Russia, and the Philippines) is a SERIOUS threat, not to be dismissed lightly. Want a sleepless night or two? This book is for you. Whichever side of the political spectrum you are on, this is essential reading, IMO. Five stars.
